Windows GPU Settings

Allow your browser to use the dedicated GPU:

  1. Open Windows Settings (Windows + I)
  2. Go to System → Display → Graphics
  3. Click 'Browse' and select your browser executable
  4. Click 'Options' and select 'High performance'
  5. Save and restart your browser

Use your GPU manager to prefer graphics processor:

For NVIDIA Users:

  1. Right-click on desktop → NVIDIA Control Panel
  2. Go to 'Manage 3D Settings'
  3. Select 'Program Settings' tab
  4. Add your browser and set 'High-performance NVIDIA processor'

For AMD Users:

  1. Right-click on desktop → AMD Software
  2. Go to Gaming → Global Graphics

No! Zimension runs entirely in your web browser. Simply visit zimension3d.com and start creating. We recommend using Chrome, Firefox, or Edge for the best experience.

Zimension offers both free and premium plans. The free plan includes basic features and limited storage, while premium plans offer advanced tools, more storage, and additional features for serious game developers.

Zimension works on desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Games created on Zimension can be played on mobile devices, PCs, and VR headsets. We support WebXR for VR experiences.

Once your game is ready, you can publish it directly on the Zimension platform. Make sure to make the world public in share section of your world/game before Publishing it. You'll get a shareable link that works on any device with a web browser. You can also embed games on your website.

Zimension supports common 3D formats like GLB/GLTF for models, PNG/JPG for textures, MP3/WAV for audio, and MP4 for videos. We also have a built-in asset library with pre-made models and materials.

Performance issues are usually related to GPU settings. Make sure your browser is using your dedicated graphics card (see the performance section above). Also, try closing other applications and browser tabs, and ensure hardware acceleration is enabled.

Currently, games are designed to run on the web platform. However, There are options to export games in exe format and we're working on export options for mobile app stores. Stay tuned for updates!
